The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of judgment and decree dated 22.12.2023 passed by learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Patiala. 2. A perusal of the case file shows that for compliance of the judgment and decree dated 22.12.2023, the appropriate remedy available to the petitioner is to file execution proceedings. Despite the availability of the said alternative remedy, the petitioner has chosen to file the present contempt petition. 3. In view of the above, the present contempt petition is dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedy as is available to him in accordance with law. 4.
