The instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents No.2 and 3 to renew the passport of the petitioner on the basis of application dated 28.01.2025 (Annexure P-2). 1.1 A further prayer has been made in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside the impugned letter dated 11.07.2025 (Annexure P-6) issued by respondent No.3. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and accordingly prays for withdrawal of the same. 3. Ordered accordingly. 4.
