Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 483 BNSS is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.3 dated 2.2.2026, registered at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, Bathinda, District Bathinda, under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act (amended by PC Amendment Act, 2018). 2. Short affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance Bureau Punjab, filed in the Court, is taken on record. 3. Learned Senior Counsel contends that the petitioner has been in custody for 3 months and 16 days. He alleges false implication. His voice samples have been taken on 06.05.2025, for which the matter was adjourned. The alleged demand was of Rs.3,000/-, out of which an amount of Rs.2700/- is stated to have been accepted.
