The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the pension, gratuity, Employees’ Provident Fund and other retiral benefits to which the petitioner is entitled and further to release the arrears thereof along with interest @ 18% per annum on account of delayed payment. 2.
