Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, seeking quashing of impugned FIR No. 138 dated 30.12.2022, registered under Section 379 IPC (now Section 303 of the BNS) at Police Station Urban Estate, District Patiala; order dated 22.11.2023 (P-5) passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patiala, whereby the first cancellation report was rejected; and the impugned order dated 14.02.2025 (P-7) passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Patiala, whereby the second cancellation report was rejected on factually incorrect grounds. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition at this stage, with liberty to file a fresh petition subsequently, if so advised. 3.
