Pannu, Advocate for the respondent-Bajaj General Ins. Co. Ltd. **** The present appeal has been filed by the owner namely Daleep Chaudhary against the recovery rights given to the Insurance Company to recover the amount of compensation from the owner-cum-driver vide award dated 17.01.2020 passed by MACT, Ludhiana. The matter has been amicably settled btween the Insurance Company and the owner-cum-driver. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the Insurance Company is ready to waive off recovery rights granted to it by the learned Tribunal. Learned counsel for the Insurance Company has made a statement to this effect also today. In view of the above, award dated 17.01.2020 passed by MACT, Ludhiana is modified to the above extent and this appeal is disposed of in the above terms.
