It is stated in paragraph no. 3 of the said affidavit that on the basis of material collected during investigation, a final report has been filed on 05.05.2026. 3. Be that as it may. We cannot go on the assurance of a final report to consign this matter or hold it infructuous. Final reports are measures of unstable consequence, at least for the accused who may find himself back in the dock at the slightest objection. We, therefore, proceed to determine this petition on merits. 4.
