Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner in support of this petition at considerable length and Ms. Manju Thakur, learned Additional Government Advocate-I appearing on behalf of the State. 2. This writ petition is directed against the impugned First Information Report ('FIR' for short) dated 18.08.2025, giving rise to Case Crime No. 218 of 2025, under Section 74, 115(2), 109(1), 190, 191(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 7/8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 ('POCSO Act' for short), Police Station Kiratpur, District Bijnor. 3. The case of the informant, who is a woman, is that her daughter, the prosecutrix, is a student of Class XII, who goes to Guniyapur School to read.
