This writ petition has been instituted seeking a mandamus to command the Investigating Officer to conclude further investigation, if any, within a specified time in Case Crime No. 178 of 2023, under Sections 409, 419, 420 IPC, Police Station Sujanganj, District Jaunpur. There is a further prayer to issue mandamus to the Investigating Officer not to harass the petitioner in connection with further investigation in the said crime. 2. On 30.04.2026, we passed the following order: "Apparently, investigation in Case Crime No. 178 of 2023, under Sections 409, 419, 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Police Station Sujanganj, District Jaunpur are lingering on.
