Petitioners- Dharmendra Chauhan And Another have approached this Court by means of present criminal misc. writ petition challenging the FIR dated 19.04.2026 lodged by first informant-respondent-4 Santosh Chauhan and registered as Case Crime No. 0055 of 2026, under Section 80(2) of BNS and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Police Station- Dakshin Tola, District- Mau. 4. At the very outset, the learned A.G.A. representing State-respondents 1, 2 & 3 submits that the impugned FIR has been lodged also under Section 80(2) of BNS i.e. Section 304-B of IPC.
