Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record. 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for applicant that applicant is contractual Class IV Employee and it is alleged that Inspector Surendra Gautam used to demand money for passing of the trucks and the applicant used to receive the amount. Applicant was caught red handed by the trap team with a sum of Rs.5000/-. Learned counsel for applicant submits that applicant has been falsely implicated in the case. Learned counsel for applicant further submits that maximum punishment provided under Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act is seven years and is triable by Magistrate.
