Heard Sri Uday Karan Saxena, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Sri Manoj Kumar Dubey, learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record. 3. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the applicant submits that applicant was the Village Development Officer and it is alleged that applicant has demanded Rs. 10,000/- for approval of the bill amounting to Rs. 99240/-. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the applicant further submits that subsequently trap team was constituted and applicant has been caught with Rs. 10,000/- which the applicant has handed over to another person. Learned counsel for the applicant further submits that applicant has been falsely implicated in the case. The maximum punishment provided und
