The present Anticipatory Bail Application has been filed with the prayer to grant anticipatory bail to the applicant - Pashupatinath Singh in Case Crime No.36 of 2026, under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477A, 120B, 34 I.P.C. and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, Police Station - Manjar, District -Ballia. 2. Heard learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned AGA and perused the material available on record. 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that in the present case the first information report was lodged in the year 2006. The charge sheet has been submitted on 3.8.2019 and cognizance was taken in the year 2022. On the ground of speedy trial, the criminal proceedings of co- accused has already been quashed by this Court by judgment dated 16.12.2025 in Application U/s 482 No.39496 2023, Arjun Ram Vs. State of U.P. and another.
