The present anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of BNSS has been filed by the applicant with a prayer to release him on anticipatory bail in Case Crime No. 229 of 2026, under Sections 2/3 of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, P.S. Chhata, District Mathura during pendency of the trial. 3. It is contended by learned counsel for the applicant that the police has invoked the provisions of Gangsters Act against the accused/applicant on two base cases, which arose from the single incident of sale of land through impersonation.
