The present Criminal Appeal under Section 14-A(1) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 has been preferred for quashing the summoning order dated 16.03.2026, as well as the entire proceedings of Complaint Case No. 11 of 2024, under Sections 323, 504, 506 IPC and Section 3(1)(r) of the SC/ST Act. 3. Learned counsel for the appellants submits that the alleged incident is stated to have occurred on 23.07.2023, whereas the complaint was filed on 21.11.2023 after an unexplained delay of about four months.
