Applicants, before this Court, were respondents no.3 to 7 in Writ-B No.3298 of 2025 filed by one Laccho Devi and two others. On 23.08.2025, the writ Court had granted an interim order and directed the parties to maintain status quo and passed the following order:- "The submission of learned Counsel for the petitioner is that the right to succession on account of date of death of lineal descendants has been got inquired into by the Sub Divisional Officer and his findings have been taken into consideration in order to determine the order of succession from the event of death of the lineal ascendants. The submission is that the report of the Sub Divisional Officer about the date of death of the descendants is irrelevant material and no evidence in the eye of law. He has further argued that material evidence has been ignored from consideration and perverse conclusions
