This contempt application has been filed by the applicant, who is a tenant stating the violation of the judgment dated 11.09.2025 passed by the writ Court. 3. The dispute relates to an apartment which was rented out to the applicant by the opposite party. A release application was moved which was allowed, against which, the applicant had preferred a statutory appeal under Section 35 of the U.P. Regulation of Urban Premises Tenancy Act, 2021. The mandatory deposit of 50 percent of the outstanding rent was not deposited by the tenant and the appeal was admitted.
