The petitioners through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondents to release independent domestic electricity connection without insisting for payment of outstanding dues of respondent No.5. 2. As per pleadings, the petitioners purchased flats in JTPL City, Sector 115, Kharar. The flats were purchased in 2023-2024. Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission in April’ 2025 ordered to release domestic electricity connections in the Society subject to compliance of applicable formalities. The petitioners approached respondent for release of fresh domestic electricity connection. The respondent refused to process their applications on the ground that there are outstanding electricity due
