The present writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners(petitioner No.2, being minor, through his next friend petitioner No.1) at the hands of private respondent No.4 and for not harassing the petitioners on any false criminal complaint, if any lodged by respondent No.4 (Mother of petitioner No.1). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no.l is major whereas petitioner No.2 is 17 years old. Both of them are living together against the wishes of the private respondent and seek appropriate protection from the authorities.
