The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 21.04.2025(Annexure P-2) vide which the claim of the petitioner for regularisation of his services under policy dated 17.10.2002 (Annexure P-3) has been rejected and also direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for regularisation of his services under policy dated 17.10.2002. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed in the year 1986 to the post of sweeper on part time basis and he had rendered 40 years of service with the respondent department and he is on the verge of attaining superannuation without his services being regularized.
