(Oral) Challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 01.11.2018, whereby the petitioner herein had been declared a proclaimed offender in FIR bearing No. 110 dated 11.06.2017, under Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station City Moga, District Moga. Reply by way of affidavit of Jashandeep Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City Moga already stands filed on behalf of respondent-State and the same is taken on record. It is evident from the perusal of the order sheets that since 24.03.2023, Counsel for the petitioner has not been turning up for hearing. The position has remained unchanged today as well.
