Prayer in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing/holding the impugned action of the respondent/PSPCL in reducing the basic pay of the petitioners working as Assistant Lineman from Rs.37,600/- to Rs.29,700/- by refixing the pay under the 7th Pay Commission, without passing any order in writing and without issuing any show cause notice/action oriented notice and without affording any opportunity of hearing as illegal, unlawful, arbitrary, unconstitutional and in gross violation of principles of natural justice. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to restore the basic pay of Rs.37,600/- with all admissible allowances and to stay the reduct
