Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No. 2 has already been acquitted by the learned trial Court; however, a criminal appeal bearing No. CRM-A-867-MA of 2017 is pending. He further submits that the complainant lodged the present FIR only to exert pressure upon the petitioner to settle scores in relation to the litigation pending between the parties. 3.
