Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (for short - ‘the BNSS’) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.132 dated 03.08.2025 (Annexure P-1), registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 118(2), 126(2), 109, 191(3), 190, 324(4) and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short - ‘the BNS’) [Sections 190, 191(3) and 61(2) of the BNS were deleted and Sections 238 and 3(5) of the BNS and Section 192 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, was added later on] at Police Station Nangal, District Rupnagar. 2. Allegations qua the petitioner are that he being the member of unlawful assembly caused injuries to the complainant and his brother with sharp edged weapon and thereafter fled from the spot along with the weapon while extending threats to kill. 3.
