The brief facts of the case are that one Nahar Singh was apprehended with 3 kgs of poppy husk. During police remand, he disclosed that he had procured the contraband from Bhupinder Singh @ Bhinda (petitioner) and disclosed that the petitioner had cultivated poppy plants behind his residential house. 3.
