The prayer wrapped in the instant writ petition is for issuance of a direction to the respondents No.2 and 3 to consider and decide the petitioner’s applications (Annexure P-4) seeking regular extension of his small stage carriage permits on the rural route from Jagraon to Lopo, within a stipulated time period. 2. Mr. Sahil R. Bakshi, A.A.G., Punjab, who is in receipt of an advance copy of the writ petition and represents the respondents, submits, on instructions from Ms. Poonampreet Kaur, P.C.S., Secretary, R.T.A., Patiala, that there is no objection in case a direction is issued to the respondent concerned to decide the applications (supra) within a stipulated time period. 3.
