Through the instant petition, filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, a prayer is made for issuance of a writ in nature of certiorari seeking quashing of office order 04.05.2015 (Annexure P-4) passed by respondent no.2, whereby the claim of the petitioner for higher pay scale for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) for the period, he had worked on the said post alongwith all consequential benefits, has been declined. 2. Learned State counsel, on instructions, informs this Court that the period in question, has already been counted, as prayed for, and the benefit of Rs.1,11,999/- has also been paid to the petitioner, therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the instant petition.
