The present appeal was filed in the year 2021 against the order passed by the learned Single Judge with regard to the direction for illegally allotting the dump sites. The petition was disposed of with a direction to file an appropriate petition before the Deputy Commissioner which led to filing of the present petition. 2. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the term of the Panchayat has already expired. Further it may be noticed that nobody has been appearing on behalf of the appellants since October, 2022. Even today, none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellants, which shows that the appellants are not interested in pursuing the present writ petition. 3.
