The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the petitioner the benefit of regular full pension on the ground that the similarly situated persons have been granted the said benefit on the basis of judgment dated 06.10.2020 (Annexure P-4) passed by this Court in CWP-19070-2015 titled as ‘Surjeet Kaur Vs. State of Punjab and others’. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievances, the petitioner has also submitted representation dated 13.04.2026 (Annexure P-5) to the respondents which is still pending consideration.
