The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India averring therein that the petitioner has filed an appeal which is pending before respondent No.2 – Commissioner-cum-Joint Development Commissioner, Appellate Authority, Rural Development and Panchayat – along with an application for stay. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that though the appeal was filed along with the application for stay as far back as 15.07.2022, however, no orders have been passed on the application for stay despite the appeal being a statutory appeal. Learned counsel for the petitioner further states that he limits his prayer in the present petition to the extent that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the application for stay
