The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking directions to respondents to constitute Medical Board to conduct medical examination of the undertrial prisoner namely Anup. 2. As per petitioner, his son who is confined in District Jail, Jind has been tortured by Jail Authorities. CIA Staff, at the behest of Jail Authorities, is also torturing him. Petitioner’s another son is also being tortured because of complaint against Jail Authorities. 3. On the directions of this Court, respondent-State has filed reply by way of affidavit dated 12.05.2026 of Sh. Deepak Sharma, Superintendent, District Jail. The same is taken on record.
