Present appeal is directed against the order dated 19.03.2026 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran dismissing the application of the appellant for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.96 dated 15.02.2026 registered under Section 3(1) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 ((hereinafter in short as ‘SC/ST Act’) and Sections 115(2), 351(2), 352 and 356 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, at Police Station Goindwal Sahib, District Tarn Taran. 2. Brief facts as per the prosecution case are that the appellant along with co-accused had slapped the complainant and abused him in the name of his caste with an intention to disrespect him.
