Prayer in the present petition is for directing respondents No.2 to 4 to get FIR No.02 dated 09.01.2026, under Sections 108, 3(3) of BNS, registered at Police Station GRP Sirhind, District Government Railway Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, investigated through a senior police officer not below the rank of Superintendent of Police. 2. It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had submitted a complaint to the local police, however, initially, no FIR was registered. Thereafter, on account of persistent efforts of the petitioner, the present FIR was registered. He has submitted that when no action was taken by the local police against respondent No.5, petitioner also sent a representation (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.3 but till date, there is no progress in the investigation. 3.
