The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for quashing of order dated 05.04.2016 (Annexure P-11), passed by the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Phillaur in case titled as State vs. Chetan, arising out of FIR No.71 dated 17.05.2015 registered under Sections 406, 420, 120B of IPC at Police Station Goraya, District Jalandhar City, whereby the petitioner had been declared a proclaimed absconder. 2.
