The instant petition has been filed seeking directions from this Court, in exercise of its jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Gurugram, for expeditious disposal of the civil suit pending between the parties, as the matter has already been amicably settled between them. A compromise deed dated 23.05.2022 was submitted before the learned Trial Court, and the parties also suffered statements before the Court on 23.05.2022. However, instead of disposing of the matter in terms of the compromise, the case was repeatedly adjourned for consideration of the statements and arguments thereon, Thereafter, upon change of the Presiding Officer, the parties were again directed to suffer statements on 17.03.2026.
