(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus seeking protection to the petitioner in view of the threat faced by him. The matter came up earlier for hearing. Vide order dated 06.02.2026, 02 PSOs were to be provided to the petitioner. The said 02 PSO are currently attached with the petitioner. Additionally, in FIR No.221 dated 26.12.2025, 11 persons have been nominated as accused, out of which 07 accused have been arrested. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court. Needless to say, 02 PSOs attached to the petitioner shall remain so attached and any change in the threat perception to the petitioner shall be duly intimated to this Court before the PSOs are sought to be withdrawn.
