Instant petition, under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 482 Cr.P.C.), has been filed for seeking quashing of order dated 05.05.2026 (Annexure P-5), passed by learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Gurdaspur, in case bearing No.NACT/422/2025, dated 01.07.2025, titled as, “Ashok Kumar v. Ashu Kohli”, in complaint u/s 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (for brevity, ‘NI Act’), whereby, petitioner has been declared as ‘Proclaimed Person’, allegedly without following the due procedure of law. 2.
