123 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH CWP-13321-2026 Date of Decision : 07.05.2026 ASHOK KUMAR .....Petitioner VERSUS STATE OF PUNJAB AND ANOTHER .....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE KULDEEP TIWARI Present : Mr. Raj Kaushik, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Sahil R. Bakshi, AAG, Punjab. KULDEEP TIWARI, J.(Oral) 1. The main grievance which propelled the present petitioner to approach this Court by casting instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is the indolent and lackadaisical approach of the authority concerned, in not deciding his application dated 04.12.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied, in case a mandamus is passed upon respondents, to take a final decision on his application (supra), in a time bound manner. 3. On the other hand, learned State counsel submits, on instructions from Mr. Baljinder Singh, Secretary, RTA, that he has no objection, if the aforesaid direction is passed upon the respondent authorities.
