Widow, two daughters and three sons had filed the claim petition on account of death of Umesh Maddeshiya alias Umesh Kumar, who had admittedly died in a motor vehicular accident. The Tribunal vide award dated 01.12.2023 had awarded an amount of ₹13,49,346/- as compensation along with interest to the claimants No.1, 2 and 4 to 6. 2. It has been jointly submitted during the course of arguments that the matter has been settled vide detailed settlement agreement dated 26.02.2026 before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. The said agreement has been placed on record.
