The present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (erstwhile Section 439 Cr.P.C.) seeking regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.132 dated 08.07.2025 under Section 21(c) of the NDPS Act 1985, (Sections 27 & 29 of the NDPS Act added later on), registered at Police Station Kotwali, Bathinda, District Bathinda. 2. The case of the prosecution is that co-accused Lakhveer Singh and Prabhjeet Singh, who were travelling in a Fortuner car, were apprehended and upon search, two bags containing 20 kg of heroin each (totalling 40 kg of heroin) allegedly recovered from the vehicle, which falls within the ambit of commercial quantity. During the course of investigation, the said co-accused have suffered disclosure statements alleging that the recovered contraband was to be delivered to th
