Through the instant petition, cast under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, a prayer is made made for issuance of a direction upon respondents no.3 to 6 to include petitioners no.1 to 25 (students of Class-X) in the list of candidates and to allow them to sit for their compartment examination alongwith All India Secondary School Examinations (Compartment)-XII, which to be held in the month of July, 2026. 2. On an advance notice, Mr. Beant Singh Seemar, Advocate, has caused appearance on behalf of respondents no.3 to 6-CBSE, and submits that the compartment examinations of Class-X is already over.
