This criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction especially a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of the respondents No.4 & 5 and not to interfere in the matrimonial life of the petitioners at the behest of the respondents No.4 & 5 and other relatives and friends. The reliance is being placed on cases reported as "Lata Singh Vs State of U.P. and Another", AIR 2006 SC 2522 and "Shafin Jahan vs. Asokan K.M.", (2018) 16 SCC 368. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners being major, got married against the wishes of private respondents.
