The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 to 6 and take action on their representation dated 13.05.2026 (Annexure P-3). 2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that they are major. They are in love. Their private respondents are against their relationship and threats have even been extended to them by the private respondents to kill them. Petitioner No.1 has left her house and has started living with the petitioner No.2.
