At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, petitioner No.2 through her mother-petitioner No.1, would submit fresh/revised Annexure-C with the Passport Authorities, within a period of one week from today. It is directed that in case, the aforesaid revised Annexure-C is submitted by the petitioner No.2 through her mother - petitioner No.1, then Passport Authorities shall duly consider the same and pass an appropriate order thereon, in accordance with law, before the next date of hearing. List on 16.04.2026 for further proceedings.” 3. Today, learned counsel for respondents No.1 and 2 submits that in pursuance of the aforesaid order dated 19.03.2026, the Regional Passport Officer, Chandigarh, has passed an order dated 16.04.2026, whereby the application submitted by petitioner No.2 (through his mother – petitioner No.1) for issuance of passport has been rejected under Section 5(2)(c) of the Passports Act, 1967. 4.
