The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners under Punjab Government Policy dated 18.03.2011 (Annexure P-4) instead of Policy dated 16.05.2023 (Annexure P-7) as services of one similarly situated employee, namely Parshant Kumar, who was appointed as Data Entry Operator along with the petitioners on contract basis pursuant to the same advertisement, has been regularized under Policy dated 18.03.2011, vide order dated 02.03.2026 (Annexure P-12) in compliance of the order dated 08.12.2025 (Annexure P-11) passed by this Court in CWP-23803-2023 titled as ‘Parshant Kumar Vs.
