The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No.1 to fix the actual date of hearing and decide Urgent Stay Application filed in Appeal No.99/2026 before the scheduled election date 10.05.2026. He is further seeking direction to respondents to adjudicate and pass a speaking order on the Stay application. He is also seeking to maintain status quo with regard to the election process of Shri Sanatan Dharam Mahabir Dal (Regd.), Karnal (for short ‘the Society’) till the pending stay application is heard. 2.
