This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding Section 438 of Cr.P.C) in case FIR No.207 dated 25.08.2025 under Section 15 of NDPS Act (offence un- der Section 29 NDPS added subsequently) registered at Police Station City Ra- jpura, District Patiala. 2. The case of the prosecution is that 40 kg of poppy husk was recovered from a vehicle owned by the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence. It is further submitted that the vehicle of the petitioner had already been stolen on 22.08.2025, i.e. prior to 25.08.2025, the date on which the alleged recovery was effected and a report regarding the theft had been duly lodged. 4. Learned State counsel submits that during investigation, no credible evidence was produced by the petitioner
