The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the death-cum-service benefits, including but not limited to NPS accumulations, leave encashment, ex-gratia and any other arrears arising out of the services of deceased Manvir Kaur, in favour of the petitioner along with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of death i.e. 03.10.2022. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of her grievances, the petitioner has also submitted representation dated 09.05.2024 (Annexure P-3) to the respondents which is still pending consideration.
