Instant petition has been filed praying for quashing of FIR No.29, dated 08.03.2026 registered under Sections 329(1), 303(2), 115(2), 351(1), 62 and 3(5) of BNS at Police Station Chhajali, District Sangrur and subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise deed dated 28.03.2026, Annexure P-2. 2. The FIR in question was lodged by complainant-respondent No.2 and the investigation commenced thereon. However, with the intervention of respectables, finally the parties arrived at settlement and they resolved their inter se dispute, which is apparent from Annexure P-2.
