The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment as ETT Teacher (posts 5994), being eligible candidate, because the name of the petitioner mentioned at Sr. No.18, Page No.6 under SC (M&B) Category in the ‘Provisional Combined Selection List’ of ETT Cadre (5994 posts), the petitioner secured 102 marks, his name was shown in the list of ‘eligible candidates’ dated 06.11.2025 (Annexure P-8) and the station has been allotted to him at School G.P.S. Saliana, District Moga, Block-2 as per (Annexure P-10). But the respondent-department illegally, not issuing the appointment letter to the petitioner till today, on the other hand, the process of the recruitment of 5994 posts is going on and vacancies are lying vacant as
